Once again, the celebration of this event in Binaced, which marks the second edition following the II International Red Kite Symposium in 2015, is not a coincidence. It is the result of more than 40 years of dedicated work in the Binaced region aimed at protecting raptors in general, and the Red Kite in particular.

The municipality of Binaced has a distinctive feature that makes it the ideal location for the upcoming International Red Kite Symposium: it is one of the most important areas in Europe with the highest density of Red Kites during the winter months, and possibly one of the regions where the greatest efforts in research and conservation have been carried out in recent decades for this threatened and emblematic species.

This international event provides the perfect platform to share and update knowledge on the Red Kite, exchange experiences, techniques, and expertise among countries, and establish priorities for its future study and conservation.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we encourage you to take part in this important international meeting, which will offer simultaneous translation in Spanish and English during all presentations. We also invite you to share your own research, conservation efforts, or management experience of the Red Kite by presenting oral or written communications at the symposium.

Additionally, a parallel program of activities open to all attendees has been organized.
